We are students of the California Culinary
Academy in San Francisco. Our class, currently
studying banquets and catering, has been
assigned to organize and host an event, which
we chose to be a fundraiser for Slow Food
Nation 2008.
The twelve of us have set out to raise $10,000
over three short weeks for donation to Slow
Food Nation.
Our chef instructor, Lina Romasanta, head of
the Slow Food Convivium on our campus, is
helping tremendously to guide us toward our
goal.
Students and staff of our school are honored to
contribute to the Slow Food Movement in any
way and are determined to remain at the
forefront of this movement.
